Weekly Rituals
Monday - seeing Eric after his class. Tuesday - having lunch with Marissa and Mason before class. Wednesday - going to Philosophy and then deciding whether the Sociology lecture will benefit us or not. It’s always a no. I love Delanie and Jenna. Thursday - Politics and then JMC. Friday - dowhateverthefuckiwantday

I want to go on an adventure
Like go on a train and ride it til I’m far enough to not know where to go. Maybe discover a pretty place, a cute garden, have a little picnic or something. There’s so much to experience from this world; I want to see as much as I can of this planet. Sure, my wage doesn’t allow me to be able to go to France or Greece or Italy, but who’s to say little discoveries are going to be less beautiful?

I wish I had a talent to showcase
After an interesting morning chasing trains, and watching a video on ‘bullshit’ in Politics etc, I went and saw my boy at his uni. He showed me around, I met a couple of people from his course, and watched them jam for a little bit.
I now understand why his response is always the same when I ask him how his day was - “amazing” The location’s cool, the people are lovely but importantly the vibe.. my God, it’s fantastic. Just absolutely impressive. Within the first 10 seconds of arriving, I was already enjoying it. I was greeted by a little group just outside the building. They were all just casually singing while someone played guitar - apparently this is what they do every lunchtime ^_^ A couple minutes later, we all went in a little studio inside and again, they just jammed; singing random songs, improvising random beats - was just such a good environment to be in. Everyone was so talented, I felt like I was in some kind of lame music-y movie like Raise Your Voice when she first enters the school and sees all the talent.. only it wasn’t lame and corny. It was fucking awesome. I’ve always wanted to be able to sing or learn an instrument but I just suck at everything. But today, I didn’t even care. Listening to them just.. create beautiful music, right next to me, literally gave me goosebumps. The voices were breathtaking, the drummer was an absolute beast and the guitarists were insane. And that was them just mucking around. I can only imagine the amount of orgasms I’d have to contain listening to them actually perform.
It was such a great thing to experience.. and I was only there for a few hours. To be able to be a part of that everyday.. of course he would love it. Watching him play today made me realise how much he’s grown as a musician. (Not that he wasn’t already great 4 years ago when he was playing in my cousin’s loungeroom) His confidence rises, and the amount of passion he has is evident everytime he holds a guitar. I wish I could describe how happy I am for him. I am so, so proud and I know he’s going to do some absolutely amazing things in life. I know it’ll happen soon enough. And I can’t wait to be by his side when it does.

Animals are so fucking cool
Like seriously, my dog, she’s so small and her expressions make me laugh but sfghhjgdd;df I can’t describe it. Dogs are so fucking cool. And elephants! They’re so awesome. I can’t wait to ride one! And owls, with their big eyes and hoo hoo and their mystery and wisdom and shit And penguins. How the dad takes care of the baby while the mum goes hunting for food. And they’re so cute, just waddling about And dolphins fssghbgddg oh god
They just bring you all this joy and life and make you forget about the downside of everything because that’s just how they roll and it’s just wonderful :’)
